Home Valencia
The older parts of Valencia are considered to be amongst the largest ancient city centres in Europe. Within this area you can still make out the original designs of its foundations (S.III b.C) as a Roman camp and an intricate network of criss crossing streets that date back to Medieval times. We can visit Valencia´s Cathedral, a Gothic building in which they say the Holy Grail is hidden. Not far from there we come across the old Silk Market. This Gothic Building is considered to be a world heritage site by UNESCO given its historic importance. All of Europe´s silk sales important from Asia were negotiated in this unique building. Directly in front you will find the Central Market, built in 1928. This is the oldest Market still in use in Spain. Not far away, the Town Hall Square, The Postal Building, The Bullring and the North Station are to be found. You can also visit the Quart Towers and the Serrano Towers, sole remains of the medieval wall that surrounded the city. We invite you to walk through the streets of Valencia and discover it´s hidden palatial homes, churches, museums and enchanting little corners.

City of Arts and Sciences:

Right at the end of this enormous garden you will find the Cabecera Park with an artificial lake brimming with life. Right next to the lake is the Biopark. A zoo exclusively dedicated to African Flora and Fauna boasting a very modern concept: there are no barriers that separate animals from visitors. In this way you will enjoy the unique sensation of walking through the different regions of Africa. You can purchase your entrance tickets for the Biopark at the Hotel´s Customer Care counter at no additional cost.

Valencia has excellent museums. One of the most important of which is the Valencian Institute of Modern Art (IVAM), with important Exhibitions and Modern Art collections; The National Ceramic Museum, very traditional in Valencia; Museum of Fine Arts San Pío V, with important Renaissance Collections housed in what used to be the San Carlos Academy of Fine Arts.

Formula 1 and GP Motorbike Championship

Valencia has an exclusive urban Formula 1 circuit. In the month of August this important sporting event takes place and attracts visitors from around the world who come to watch the racing cars pass at nearly 300Km/hr through the Port and the streets near the hotel. And if that weren´t enough adrenalin and speed, Valencia is also host to the Spanish leg of the International Motorbike Championship at the Ricardo Tormo circuit of Cheste (only 22 minutes away from Valencia). This event is usually the last race of the world championship and can often be where the best motorbike racers in the world are decided on, for this reason expectations are high amongst biking fanatics.
